EARTH DAY 2024
On the occasion of Earth Day, various activities were organized in the premises of Shivdale School, Jagjitpur. Children from classes 1 to 5 created beautiful posters conveying the message of protecting trees and maintaining a green Earth. Meanwhile, students from classes 9 and 10 participated in a collage competition to promote the importance of keeping our planet clean, beautiful, and green. The children of class 6 delivered an excellent presentation. Anukriti Dimri and Avipsha shared their perspectives, while Ishita and Ankita Vats performed a short drama. During the presentation, the children emphasized the significance of planting trees, conserving electricity and water, and spoke out against harmful gas pollution. They also raised awareness about water conservation and advocated for measures to save electricity. Expressing their thoughts in their own words, the children stressed the importance of tree and plant conservation, urging everyone to plant new trees, use energy efficiently, and manage waste properly. They highlighted the need to combat air, water, and land pollution, and encouraged measures to reduce water consumption. Additionally, they promoted the use of bicycles and public transport to conserve fuel and minimize pollution. The event emphasized the importance of collaboration among organizations and communities to protect the environment. School president Swami Sharad Puri ji commended the children and emphasized the importance of nature conservation and the vital role of trees in providing oxygen and maintaining a clean environment. He urged everyone to cultivate sensitivity towards environmental issues to ensure proper protection. Through such educational initiatives, children develop a sense of responsibility towards the Earth and gain awareness of environmental conservation. Principal Mr. Arvind Kumar Bansal ji and Coordinator Mr. Vipin Malik ji praised the students for their engaging presentations, which captivated everyone in attendance.
